Our school district announced today that they will start classes back up on Monday, They also said that they will not pursue truancy if we decide to keep our children home (and follow CDC guidelines). My question is: If I keep my son home from school for the next 8 weeks, like the CDC suggests, is there some way they can keep my son from moving on to the 6th grade based on missed days due to following the CDC guidelines?

I assume under the new government order, they are not re-opening.
